Blow and Barrel is a small, independent advice site about hair dryers, Airwrap-style stylers and hot brushes. Every page sets out to answer one question fully, and the direct answer always comes first.

How products are chosen
We do not run a test lab and we do not claim hands-on testing. Our buying guides compare products on the facts in their Amazon listings and the manufacturers' own specifications: dimensions, materials, power, what is in the box. Where a listing leaves something out, we say so. How we pick explains the method and its limits.
