Dyson now sells four versions of its Supersonic dryer, and the names do not make the differences obvious. The Origin is the original design with one attachment. The standard Supersonic adds gentle air and flyaway tools. The Nural brings sensors, a scalp mode and pause detect. The Supersonic r uses a newer, more compact format with a higher wattage.
