This version of the Shark FlexStyle 5-in-1 is the one to note if your hair is shorter or you want tighter curls. Unlike the diffuser edition, it ships with two curler sizes, 32 mm and 24 mm, so you can choose between loose and tight curls. The smaller 24 mm curler is what lets it work on lengths that a single larger barrel would miss, and the twist-to-dry body still doubles as a normal dryer.

Our take
Two curler sizes and why they matter
Shark lists 32 mm curlers for loose curls and 24 mm curlers for tighter ones. Coanda airflow wraps the hair automatically, so the main skill is sectioning rather than twisting. On a bob or a shoulder-length cut, the 24 mm size has a better chance of catching the ends and holding a curl.
The listing does not state whether each size comes as a left and right pair, only that both diameters are included.
Smoothing tools and finishing
The FrizzFighter Finishing Tool is designed to attract hair and smooth flyaways on dry, straight or straightened hair. An oval brush handles volume and smoothing during drying, and the concentrator directs airflow when the handle is in dryer mode. Alligator clips and a storage bag complete the gift set.
Heat is measured 1,000 times per second to keep air temperatures steady, according to Shark. Rated power is 1,650 W, five settings are listed, and the stated tool weight is 700 g.
What this edition leaves out
There is no diffuser and no paddle brush in this box. That matters if you have curly hair you want to define, or long hair you usually smooth with a wide brush. The Stone FlexStyle 5-in-1 edition includes both of those heads but not the 24 mm curler or FrizzFighter.
Compared with the FlexStyle 3-in-1 and Dyson Airwrap i.d.
The Shark FlexStyle 3-in-1 has two curlers, an oval brush and a concentrator at 1,400 W, without the smaller curler or the FrizzFighter. For short hair, the Dyson Airwrap i.d. uses a conical barrel instead, with an app-driven curl sequence, at a stated 600 g. The Shark covers similar ground with a simpler button layout.
Verdict
Buy this FlexStyle 5-in-1 if you have short to mid-length hair and want both tight and loose curls plus a finishing tool for flyaways. Curly hair owners should look at the diffuser edition or the FlexStyle IonCurl, and anyone wanting automated curl timing can compare the Dyson Airwrap i.d.
